INTERNATIONAL AGRIBUSINESS COUNCIL

WHAT WE DO

The International Agribusiness Council (IAC) is a U.S.-based Agricultural Trade Organization engaged in shaping the United States’ Agricultural Trade Expansion.

IAC works proactively on transforming American Industry’s engagement in national and international development.

Establish to promote businesses and investments between the United States and other nations, IAC serves as a neutral, trusted intermediary connecting its member firms with the essential government and business leaders they need to do business and succeed.

IAC charts change by working closely with Government on policy issues, interfacing with thought leaders, and enhancing efficiency, competitiveness, and business opportunities for industry through a range of specialized services and strategic global linkages. It also provides a platform for consensus-building and networking on key issues.

IAC services its members through Agriculture, Agribusiness, and Trade Sectors and Country-specific working groups, high-level special events, business conferences, customized member services, trade missions, and advocacy programs.

We also organize Trade fairs, Symposia, and many other types of exhibitions to promote Cocoa, Chocolate, Coffee, Cashew, Rubber, Food Industry, and Agriculture in general.

Extending its agenda beyond business, IAC assists the industry to identify and execute corporate citizenship programs.
Partnerships with civil society organizations carry forward corporate initiatives for integrated and inclusive development across diverse domains including affirmative action, livelihoods, diversity management, skill development, empowerment of women, and sustainable development, to name a few.
